Los Nevados Hiking Guide: GPX files
Kraig Adams, kraigadams.com

These are my own GPS recordings of three days across Los Nevados National
Natural Park, Colombia, on March 13 to 15, 2021: from the Valle de Cocora by
Acaime and Estrella de Agua to Finca La Primavera; over the high paramo below
Nevado del Tolima to the hot springs at Termales del Canon; and down past El
Salto and Estambul to Juntas. They show the way I actually walked in 2021.
All timestamps have been removed. On Day 3 two false dips in the terrain
heights above Juntas were removed.

How to use them
AllTrails: on alltrails.com, create a new map and use Import (offline maps
need a paid plan).
Gaia GPS: open the file on your phone and choose Gaia GPS, or use Import on
gaiagps.com.
Garmin: Garmin Connect on the web, Training, Courses, Import, then send it to
your watch or device.
Organic Maps (free): download the offline map for Colombia, then open the GPX
file with Organic Maps.

Load them and download offline maps in Salento: there's no phone signal for
most of the crossing. Since 2026 the park requires a registered guide; your
guide may take a slightly different line.

These files are for your personal use. Please don't share or resell them.
