Laguna 69 Hiking Guide: GPX files
Kraig Adams, kraigadams.com

These are my own GPS recordings of two days in Huascaran National Park,
Peru, on June 12 and 13, 2021: from the road above Chinancocha, the first
Llanganuco lake, past Orconcocha to Cebollapampa and up to Refugio Peru;
then, the next morning, from Refugio Peru over a high shoulder (15,906 ft
by my GPS) to Laguna 69 and down the Laguna 69 trail to Cebollapampa.
They show the way I actually walked. All timestamps have been removed.

For the Laguna 69 day hike, use the second half of Day 2 (Laguna 69 to
Cebollapampa) walked the other way: about 4.2 mi (6.7 km) each way.

How to use them
AllTrails: on alltrails.com, create a new map and use Import (offline maps
need a paid plan).
Gaia GPS: open the file on your phone and choose Gaia GPS, or use Import on
gaiagps.com.
Garmin: Garmin Connect on the web, Training, Courses, Import, then send it to
your watch or device.
Organic Maps (free): download the offline map for Peru, then open the GPX
file with Organic Maps.

Load them and download offline maps in Huaraz: don't count on a phone
signal past the Llanganuco lakes. Since February 2026 Laguna 69 and the
Nevado Pisco circuit (Refugio Peru) are visited only through an agency
authorized by SERNANP, the park service.
