San Juans Hiking Guide: GPX files
Kraig Adams, kraigadams.com

These are my own GPS recordings of three days in Colorado's San Juan
Mountains with my brother Kurtis, June 9 to 11, 2020: the walk in from
Capitol City to a camp below Matterhorn Peak; Uncompahgre Peak from camp;
Wetterhorn Peak from camp; the walk out; and Handies Peak from the Silver
Creek / Grizzly Gulch trailhead the same afternoon. They show the way I
actually walked, in June snow. All timestamps have been removed.

How to use them
AllTrails: on alltrails.com, create a new map and use Import (offline maps
need a paid plan).
Gaia GPS: open the file on your phone and choose Gaia GPS, or use Import on
gaiagps.com.
Garmin: Garmin Connect on the web, Training, Courses, Import, then send it to
your watch or device.
Organic Maps (free): download the offline map for Colorado, then open the GPX
file with Organic Maps.

Load them and download offline maps in Lake City: there's little or no phone
signal past town. Check road conditions before you go: the last stretch of
the Matterhorn Creek road needs a high-clearance 4WD, which is why we parked
at Capitol City and walked.
