It's been a while. It's Kraig
What I've been up to since the Wedding Film School days.
Hey,
You probably don't remember me, so a quick intro. I'm Kraig. You signed up for my emails back in 2016, during the Wedding Film School days. That was almost ten years ago, and this is the first email I've actually sent you.
A lot has changed. I stopped filming weddings and started filming my hikes. Usually solo, usually a week or so on one trail, with the films on YouTube. In the last year that's taken me across the Lofoten Islands in Norway, through the Balkans, over horse trails in Kyrgyzstan and up to K2 base camp in Pakistan.
The newest one is 85 miles alone across Lofoten. Mountains straight out of the sea, a sun that never set, and two days of storms near the end.

Right now I'm finishing a film from a week on Türkiye's Black Sea coast, out this week, and putting together a new long ambient hiking compilation for anyone who likes to work or fall asleep to the trail.
From here on I'll write every so often, a bit like a podcast in your inbox: what I'm up to, where I'm headed, and answers to your questions.
